Personal Support Workers are essential to the healthcare sector; they assist in caring for and comforting patients in private homes or medical facilities. Through a combination of skill development, laboratory work, and clinical placements, we prepare students for these careers and give them the tools they need to enter the workforce with confidence. Employers will see you after you successfully finish the programme and invite you for an interview. With a work permit, you are able to immigrate to Canada (together with your spouse and kids).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
. Have a registered nurse license from a country other than Canada.
. Achieve a minimum IELTS overall score of 6.5 in the academic or general English test.
. A minimum of two years’ worth of nursing work experience within the previous four years
. Successfully complete a live, online interview with an admissions counselor.
. Complete an online evaluation. In addition, passing a medical exam and having a clean criminal record are requirements for entrance into Canada.

NCLEX-RN

If you are an IEN wanting to become a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Canada, the Canadian Nursing Review Program can provide you with the skills required to meet Canadian standards and language in preparation of achieving your nursing license. Students have the opportunity to develop their practical experience during onsite laboratory sessions, case-study simulations, and during a clinical experience at a local health care facility, to ensure they can be well prepared for safe and effective practice in the workplace.

• Requires RN registration in the nation of origin
• Must have worked as an RN for at least two years during the previous six years.
Experience needs to be gained while working as a licensed nurse.
• IELTS Academic minimum overall score of 6.5 or above
• Be successful on the OMNI Comprehensive Nursing exam.
• Get through an OMNI Advisor interview
